Anuragh Sharma and Aarti Singh are all set to enter 'Udann'

Colors' social drama Udann has struck a chord with its viewers with its strong gripping storyline. Recently the show witnessed a lot of hurdles coming into Chakor (Meera Deosthale) and Raghav’s (Vijayendra Kumeria) lives and how they fought the storm with courage. With a major twist all set to unveil itself in the upcoming episodes, the show will witness the entry of Aarti Singh & Anuragh Sharma who will be essaying the role of Mr & Mrs. Shroff, a couple who will change the dynamics between Anjor and Chakor.

Currently, a hurt Anjor believes that her mother Chakor and Raghav have got married. However, reality is different as Chakor requests Raghav to stay away from her and her family. Running back to her daughter, in an unforeseen turn of events, Chakor gets herself involved in a murder and becomes the prime suspect.

Known for his brilliant roles and bold dialogues, Anurag Sharma will play the role of Mr. Jatin Shroff, an honorable, kind-hearted family man who finds a strong connect with little Anjor. Aarti Singh will play the role of Jatin’s wife Poonam Shroff. Unable to conceive a baby, the couple happens to meet Anjor by chance and they find an emotional connection with her. Braving tough situations and finding their happiness in Anjor, the Shroff’s decision to become her foster parents.

Talking to Aunragh Sharma about his role he said, “I’ve played a lot of characters with shades of grey but Jatin is an outright positive, strong character. Playing a young father is always challenging and one has to get it right. Jatin is a central character, the story will definitely change as the Shroffs enter the show. I’m looking forward to this new journey and hope my viewers accept me in a positive role.”

Aarti Singh stated, “My character Mrs. Poonam Shroff is fighting challenges of her own. She’s learned that she can never become a mother so she decides to take little Anjor beneath her wings. The show is doing brilliant and I’m happy that I will be playing a pivotal role in the storyline. This character gives me a lot of chance to experiment and I’m always ready to learn and grow. Having been selective in my roles, I always give preference to the ones that challenge the actor within me.”
