Popular child actor Kartikey Malviya, who was last seen in Colors' 'Shani' is all set to commence his second association with the expert of mythological series, Siddharth Kumar Tewary for his new historical project Chandragupta Maurya.
Talking about the preparations for the show Kartikey shares,"Chandragupta Maurya was a great warrior. He was swift-footed & a skilled swordsman. The moment I was approached to play the part, I started reading about him and I'm trying very hard to get into the skin of the character. A lot is at stake and I want to do justice to the role. It is a challenging role & I'll get a lot to learn. But one of my main reasons to do this is Siddharth Sir. I thoroughly enjoy working under his guidance & trust his vision & like him, I too love challenges."
Siddharth's mega-series Porus that has been sold to over 13 countries, will mark the beginning of a new chapter on Chandragupta Maurya with this culmination. Siddharth Kumar Tewary who is popularly known for his historical and mytho shows such as Mahabharat, Shani, Porus, Suryaputra Karn is all set to revive the historical era of the Maurya empire.
The show will go on air from November 14, 2018.
