Sony Marathi launches the new show 'Ek Hoti Rajkanya', the show is about a middle-class girl Avani who is father's princess. The story is a poem recited by her father describing how her fairy world. Though being a princess there are many obstacles in her path which she has to overcome. The girl who once dreamt of serving the people by becoming a doctor now has got to wear a khaki uniform of the police.

Recently the press conference was held in Mumbai in the presence of Kiran Dhane (Avani), Kishore Kadam who will be seen essaying the role of her father, business head of Sony Marathi Ajay Bhalvankar, producer Mahesh Kothare, Adinath Kothare and music composer Ashok Patki who has beautifully weaved this serial’s title track along with Ashwini Shende .

Avani, representing every woman in the 21st century, has taken upon her shoulders the responsibility of the entire house after her father's untimely demise. She doesn’t let her fall short anywhere while taking care of her mother and brother. When will the journey of this princess end and as mentioned by her father in the poem, when and how will she get a million salutes, will be revealed slowly as the serial progress.

Besides the story and the subject of the serial, the title track is also a special feature of this serial. This title track is written by Ashwini Shende and the voice is given by DevakiPanditand Ajay Purkar, while it has received its music from the legendary Ashok Patki who has enriched the world of serials with his sweet music. The title track which became a reason for conducting a melodious orchestra of DevakiPandit and Ashok Patkiafter a long time will surely be pleasing to the audience’s ear.
