In a recently held event, Star Plus launched their new show Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum starring Dipika Kakkar and Karan V Grover. the event was launched in a special way, where, not only the cast of the show but also surgeons and other television actors were present, to discuss some important issues regarding their profession and work-life balance.
The lead pair Dipika Kakkar and Karan V Grover were the hosts of the evening and interacted with the panel about the complexities of the two different industries. The conference cum launch was attended by Ada Khan, Rashmi Desai, Tanaz Currim and Alisha Panwar alongside the top surgeons of the city such as Dr. Amandeep Gujral (spine surgeon), and Viral Desai (plastic surgeon).
Talking about the same, Dipika Kakar said, "I was very excited as the script is new and refreshing. The show is different with new characters. I'm thankful to Sandip Sikand as he was sure and convinced that I was perfect for the character he wanted."
Adding to the thought, Karan V Grover said, "I'm very excited and nervous that I'm doing a TV show after 2.5 years. My character is assertive and dominating, unlike what I have played before. I was very convinced that Sandip was sure of what he wanted in my character, as he made me understand the nuances. Moreover, the show will also help people understand the real side of making a TV show."
Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum, the new concept, and a new love saga will offer a fresh take on love and relationships in contemporary times. It is a story of two characters from two different worlds, who have two different professions, two busy lifestyles with extremely busy schedules. Karan V Grover will be seen playing a surgeon and Dipika Kakar will be seen as an actress in the show, which will shed light on the difficulties of balancing the personal life with the professional one yet holding onto the romance between the two.
Throughout the promotions, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was seen as the narrator for the show who in the first outing introduced the on-screen pair leaving the audience with a question- while their hearts are one, will they manage to find themselves, hinting at the two demanding careers and the compromises it entails.
Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum will air from June 17, 2019.
