The shooting activities were halted on May 19 amid the coronavirus crisis. There has been no new content being dished out for the television audience and people have no other option but to enjoy the repeat runs of past shows.

However, ZEE Entertainment has planned an array of new delights across multiple languages to help small screen addicts bust lockdown blues.

The new offerings include ZEE Kannada's "Lockdown Diaries" and "Coffee With Anu". ZEE Marathi has three upcoming non-fiction shows, "Vedh Bhavishyacha", "Gharchya Ghari Home Minister" and "Gharat Basle Saare".

Not just this, ZEE Entertainment is also set to offer four new fiction shows. These shows have been shot in Maharashtra and that too keeping in mind the new social distancing guidelines. Recently, ZEE Sarthak started airing a non-fiction show that is called "Lockdown Challenge". In this show one can see the lives and lifestyles of leading celebrities during the ongoing lockdown. ZEE Sarthak is also planning to release an original movie titled "Mu Tame Lockdown" in June. The actors have shot both the show and the original film at their homes using mobile phone cameras.

On the digital front, ZEE5 is planning to release as many as 11 new original shows and movies during the lockdown. As many as five of them are expected to be available on the OTT by the end of May 2020. Some of these new shows have been shot entirely by the actors in their respective houses. These shows include "Bhalla Calling Bhalla", "Never Kiss Your Best Friend" and "Kaalchakra".

In addition to this, projects releasing this month include the Nawazuddin Siddiqui-starrer "Ghoomketu" (May 22). The trailer of the movie looks interesting and we shall be sharing a review of this to you over the weekend.
