Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has criticised the producers of Tunisha Sharma’s show Ali Baba: Daastan-E-Kabul for not having any doctor on call or an ambulance on set. It has started a conversation whether ambulances should be made mandatory on the sets of a show or not.

B N Tiwari, President of FWICE slamming the makers of the show said they are only interested in money as they have replaced the female lead who passed away and another male lead who is in jail. Sheezan Khan had to take Tunisha to the hospital in a private vehicle after committing suicide last month as there was no ambulance or doctor on the set.

He further added that they have mentioned time and again that ambulances on set should be made mandatory and the same used to follow during the initial days of Covid-19 pandemic, but then it stopped.

However, many producers feel one ambulance on every set in Mumbai will not serve a purpose.
JD Majethia, Chairman, TV division of IFTPC said it doesn't make sense to book an ambulance in anticipation that something bad will happen. Instead, he suggested that there should be a tie-up with a nearby hospital for urgent care.

On 24 December, 2022, Tunisha Sharma was found dead in a toilet on the set of her show Alibaba - Dastaan-e-Kabul. A day later, Mumbai police arrested her co-star and former boyfriend Sheezan Khan after Sharma's mother accused him of "abetment to suicide" - which he has denied.
