Mahesh Bhatt inaugurates the first-ever 'Jairangam fringes Theatre Fest' in Mumbai

The event organised by 3M Dot Bands, Ministry of Art and Culture, Government of India and Mukkti Foundation was held for three days between December 15 and 17, 2019.

Jairangam fringes set forth its journey in Mahanagari Mumbai recently. The event was inaugurated by prominent director Mahesh Bhatt. 3 M Dot Bands in collaboration with the Ministry of Art and Culture, Government of India in association with Mukkti Foundation is organizing a 3-day theatre festival from December 15, 2019 to December 17, 2019 at Mukkti Cultural Hub.

Talking about the same, Director Mahesh Bhatt said, “Theatre connects people. Music, cinema, theatre all helps to connect with each other. Its great pleasure all renowned theatre group along with their festival from overall places coming to Mumbai to showcase different talents in entertainment capital Mumbai. Its immense pleasure to see all artists performing very nicely under one roof.”

Other celebrated guests included Rakesh Bedi, Yashpal Sharma, Virendra Kumar, and Rahul Thackrey. The first day of the event kick-started with the following plays Pitaji Please and The Way I See it.

The mega event will showcase 6 classic theatre plays such as “The Way I see It” (Shiv Subrahmanyam), “Pitaji Please” (Makrand Deshpande), “Kiss of the Spider Woman” (Hardik Shah), “Baanswada Company” (Niresh Kumar), “Hum Gunahgar Auretein” (Sadiya Siddiqui) and “Ballygunge 1990” ( Atul Satya Koushik). Jairangam Theatre festival attended by renowned Bollywood director Mahesh Bhatt, Actors Makarand Deshpande, Virendra Kumar Rakesh Bedi, and few more
