Various parts of North and North-Western India are adversely affected by the severe dust storm going on due to the sand-bearing winds that have reached there from Rajasthan.
On Thursday, an Air India flight from Mumbai to Chandigarh was stuck in Delhi due to a sandstorm raging in the city. According to ANI reports, the aeroplane did not receive permission to reach Chandigarh due to low visibility spread by the sandstorm in the city.
Delhi is prone to the hazy conditions but not to an extent to cause flight delays and cancellations.
