Mumbai Bus Association could go on a strike if their entry is restricted to control traffic

Mumbai Bus Association could go on a strike if their entry is restricted to control traffic

As traffic in this city is no less than terrible, Mumbai Traffic Police has banned Entry in the city from 7:00 to 11:00 am in the morning and 5:00 in the evening to 10:00 in the night of private buses and heavy vehicles. Because of this, there is now a rage in private bus owners. This decision of Traffic Department has been opposed by the Mumbai Bus Association in strong words.

Members and office bearers of the Mumbai Bus Association will meet the traffic department officials and register their protest about this issue. And if there is no positive decision of any kind in this meeting, then all private buses in Mumbai will go on strike on Friday.

There are 1500 buses in Mumbai every day, 40 people travel in a single bus. If the private buses went on a strike, people might face some difficulty commuting.

Malik Patel, the secretary of Mumbai Bus Association, says that along with the association, people will be troubled as well. They aren’t being too considerate and ignore the traffic created by Ola and Uber (why does everyone have a problem with them?)

If the decision is not withdrawn, private buses along with school and corporate buses in Mumbai will start the strike.

So it remains to be seen how the traffic department responds to this.
