Fly On! Airlines to introduce flights to six new global destinations from Mumbai

The airlines from Mumbai will connect the city with six global destinations across the United States of America (USA), United Kingdom (UK), and Europe from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.

Soon, passengers from Mumbai will be able to travel to six new destinations globally in USA, Europe, and the UK starting next month. Alongside, America’s third largest carrier 'United Airlines', will offer the US-bound travellers from Mumbai added seats as the air company is planning to deploy a bigger aircraft for winter in India. Every year, Airlines’ winter schedule in the country begins from the last Saturday of October and goes on till the last Friday of March.

In addition to Air Italy and Uzbekistan Airways, which are entering in Mumbai market for the first time, national carrier Air India and private jetliners Jet Airways and GoAir will be launching new flights to international destinations from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport from October onwards," the airport official said.

The official further added that Air Italy will operate five-times-a-week from Milan to Mumbai through an Airbus A330-200 from October 31 whereas the Uzbekistan Airways will have three direct flights throughout a week between Mumbai and Tashkent with an Airbus A320 October 30 onwards.

India’s only aircraft flying directly to the US, Air India will run direct flights from Mumbai to Frankfurt and New York’s JFK Airport from October 1 and October 4 respectively. On the other hand, the city will be connected to Phuket and Male with its budget carriers from October 12 and October 14 respectively.

Meanwhile, Jet Airways will run flights between Mumbai and Manchester five-times-a-week starting November 5 with an A330-200 aircraft, becoming the airline’s 21st international destination. Similarly, United Airlines will operate its latest higher seating capacity aircraft, a Boeing 777-300ER, between Mumbai and New York/Newark route from October 1.
