On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, BEST has decided to roll out extra buses on August 26, 2018, in Mumbai and suburbs.

In total, 197 extra buses will be rolled out on Raksha Bandhan festival. BEST bus drivers will start plying from 10:30 am onwards. If the number of passengers increases, apart from extra buses, BEST will make special arrangements as well.
According to BEST officials, during festivals such as Ganesh festival or Raksha Bandhan, people tend to travel more by buses. Hence, BEST decided to roll out buses for the benefit of commuters.
