Mumbai: Central Railway to start special trains for Konkan, Goa and South India

Considering the rush and demand of passengers for Christmas and New Year holidays, the Central and Konkan Railway administration has decided to run extra trains (special trains). 48 special trains will run between Mumbai to Karmali, Kochuveli and Pune to Karmali. Also, 34 special trains will be released on CSMT to Karmali route.

• Train No. 01151 will depart from CSMT at 12.20 pm every day from December 20 to January 5 and reach Karmali at 1.30 pm on the same day.
  
  
• Train No. 01152 will depart from Karmali at 2.15 pm daily from December 20 to January 5 and reach CSMT at 3.45 pm the next day.
  
  
• This train will have stops at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal and Thivim.
  
  
• 8 special trains will run on LTT-Kochuveli – LTT route. Train No. 01463 special will leave LTT from December 19 to January 9 every Thursday at 4 pm and will reach Kochuveli next day at 10.45 pm.
  
  

• Train No. 01464 special will leave Kochuveli every Saturday at 4.20 pm from December 21 to January 11 and reach LTT at 12.45 pm on the third day.
  
  
• This train passes through Thane, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivi, Karamli, Madgaon Junction, Karwar, Gokarna Road, Kumtha, Murdeswar, Bhatkal, Mookanbika Road, By Kundapura, Udupi, Suratkal, Thokur, Mangaluru Junction, Kasaragod, Kannur, Calicut, Tirur, Shoranur, Thrissur, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Thiruvalla, Chengannur, Mavelikara, Kayankulam And there will be stops at Kollam.
  
  
• Train No. 01408 Special will depart from Pune at 5.10 am every Wednesday from December 25 to January 8 and reach Karmali at 8.25 pm on the same day. Train No. 01408 special will depart from Karmali at 10.20 pm every Wednesday from December 25 to January 8 and reach Pune at 1 pm the next day.
  
  
• This train will have stops at Chinchwad, Talegaon, Lonavla, Kalyan, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road and Thivi.

Central and Konkan Railways has informed that reservation for this train will start from December 14 at all computerised reservation centers and on the IRCTC website with special charges.
