Central Railways to operate mega block on May 16; Check the list of trains to be affected

The Central Railway of Mumbai division will operate Mega Block on its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work on May 16, 2021.

 Matunga - Mulund Up and Dn Slow Lines from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm

 Dn slow line services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai from 10.14 am to 3.36 pm will be diverted on Dn fast line between Matunga and Mulund stations and will halt at Sion, Kurla, Ghatkopar, Vikhroli and Bhandup stations. Further will be re-diverted on the proper slow line at Mulund station.

Up slow line services leaving Thane from 10.27 am to 3.55 pm will be diverted on Up fast line between Mulund and Matunga and will halt at Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar, Kurla and Sion stations. Further will be re-diverted on proper Up slow line at Matunga.

Kurla-Vashi Up & Dn Harbour lines from 11.10 am to 4.10 pm

Dn Harbour line services to Vashi /Belapur/Panvel leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai from 10.34 am to 3.39 pm and Up Harbour line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 10.21 am to 3.41 pm will remain cancelled.

However, Special services will run between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus - Kurla & Panvel- Vashi sections during the block period.

Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Main Line and Trans Harbour line from 10.00 am to 4.30 pm

These maintenance mega blocks are essential for infrastructure upkeep and safety. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.
