Concessional bus fares for MSSC staff

Mumbai - Officers and workers of the Maharashtra State Security Corporation can now travel on concessional rates on BEST bus services. Thus far, the Mumbai police have a similar concession in which policemen can travel in BEST services at one-third of the actual fare. The decision to offer a similar proposal for the MSSC employees is now pending a final stamp of approval from the BMC. The proposal however envisages a concession of upto two thirds of the actual fares. To avail of the concession, the employees will have to buy a smart card and pay a sum of Rs 40 as fee.
