Ganeshotsav 2022: CR Announces Panvel-Chiplun DEMU Special Services Till Sept 12

Railways have decided to run DEMU special services between Panvel and Chiplun to clear the extra rush of passengers due to Ganpati Festival.  The details are as under-

01597 DEMU will leave Panvel at 19.15 hrs daily with effect from 07.09.2022 to 12.09.2022 and will arrive at Chiplun at 23.50 hrs same day  
01598 DEMU will leave Chiplun at 13.45 hrs daily with effect from 07.09.2022 to 12.09.2022 and will arrive at Panvel at 18.30 hrs same day.  

Composition: 8 DEMU coaches

Halts: Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Sape Wamne, Karanjadi, Vinhere, Khed.

These special trains will run at unreserved express fares. Passengers can booked tickets through UTS system. Passengers are advised to follow COVID-19 appropriate behaviour for their and other’s safety.

In addition, railways will extend the run of special train between Mumbai and Rewa to clear the extra rush of passengers as under:

02188 special notified to run upto 30.09.2022 o­n every Friday is now extended to run till 28.10.2022
02187 special notified to run upto 29.09.2022 o­n every Thursday is now extended to run till 27.10.2022

There will be no change in days of run, timings, composition and halts.

Reservation: Bookings for extended trips of special train No. 02188 o­n special charges opened today, September 8, 2022, at all computerised reservation centres and o­n website www.irctc.co.in.
