Minister of State for Railways, Raosaheb Danve and Dr. Bharati Pawar, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare flagged off the Manmad-Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Mumbai Special Train service from Manmad railway station at 11.00 am on Monday, 11, 2022.
While addressing the gathering on the occasion, Raosaheb Patil Danve said, that under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Railways have taken various initiatives. The railways aimed to complete 100% electrification of its broad gauge lines by the end of 2023. The railways are also working towards station development, dedicated freight corridor, doubling etc. During COVID-19 pandemic threat when everything was closed, only the railways continued its freight and parcel operation to maintain the supply chain for the benefit of its citizens.
Chhagan Bhujbal, Minister of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, Government of Maharashtra and Guardian Minister, Nashik, Dr. Narendra Jadhav, Member of Parliament, Padmavati Dhatrak, President, Nagar Parishad, Manmad and Suhas Kande, MLA were also present on the occasion as Guests of Honour.
Anil Kumar Lahoti, General Manager, B.K. Dadabhoy, Additional General Manager and Principal heads of departments of Central Railway were present at CSMT headquarters. S.S. Kedia, Divisional Railway Manager, Bhusaval Division was present at Manmad.
Dr. Bharti Pawar expressed her gratitude towards Railways for considering her demand to run this train for the benefit of farmers, traders, students and daily commuters.
Anil Kumar Lahoti, General Manager Central and Western Railway welcomed the gathering and briefed about the running Manmad-Mumbai special train and how it will benefit rail users in the vicinity.
The 02104 inaugural special will leave Manmad at 11.00 hrs and will arrive CSMT at 15.55 hrs.
Regular services will run as Train no. 02102-02101 Manmad-CSMT-Manmad Special Train.

Accordingly, Central Railways (CR) will run CSMT Mumbai-Manmad summer specials as per details below:
02102 daily special will leave Manmad at 08.45 hrs and arrive CSMT Mumbai at 13.28 hrs same day.
02101 daily special will leave CSMT Mumbai at 15.45 hrs and arrive Manmad at 20.28 hrs same day.
Halts: Lasalgaon, Niphad, Nashik Road, Igatpuri, Kalyan Thane and Dadar.
Composition: One AC Chair Car, 8 second class seating (3 reserved and 5 unreserved), 2 General Second class including Guard's Brake vans.
Reservation: Bookings for Ac Chair Car and 3 Second Seating Coaches on train No.02101/02102 on special charges opened on April 10, 2022, at all computerised reservation centres and on website www.irctc.co.in.
