Mumbai Local News: CR, WR Announces Special Traffic & Jumbo Block On June 29-30 - Details Here

The Central Railway (CR) has announced Special Traffic and Power Block of 3 hours for Track Relaying Work at Palasdari-Karjat section on Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 10.40 am to 1.40 am. 

During this period, UP Mail/Express Trains will be diverted on mid line between Monkey Hill Cabin and Karjat Junction.

Cancellation of Suburban Trains

Suburban trains departure from Karjat at 10:40 hrs, 12:00 hrs and 13:15 hrs & departure from Khopoli at 11:20 hrs and 12:40 hrs will remain cancelled.

Khopoli -CSMT local departing Khopoli at 13:48 hrs will remain cancelled up to Karjat and will depart from Karjat at 14:14 hrs.

Moreover, to carry out maintenance work of tracks, signalling and overhead equipment, the Western Railway (WR) has announced a Jumbo Block of five hours o­n Up and Down Fast lines between Borivali and Ram Mandir station from 10.00 hrs to 15.00 hrs o­n Sunday, June 30, 2024.

According to a press release issued by Vineet Abhishek, Chief Public Relations Officer of WR, during the block period, all Up and Down Fast line trains will run o­n Slow lines between Borivali and Andheri stations.

Some suburban trains will remain cancelled during the block and also some of the Borivali and Andheri trains will be worked upto Goregaon o­n Harbour line.
