Direct Flight Services from Mumbai to Prayagraj to start soon

From next month, people will be able to travel to Prayagraj (formerly known as Allahabad) from Mumbai via air. The direct flight services from Mumbai will start on April 20 to Bamrauli Airport in Allahabad. The booking for the same has already begun. 

IndiGo’s flight (6E-214) will depart from Mumbai at 11:15 in the morning and will arrive at Bamrauli airport at 1:30 in the afternoon. Another Mumbai-bound IndiGo flight (6E-215) will depart from Bamrauli airport at 2:00 PM. 

So far, Bamrauli Airport has a direct flight to several cities including Delhi, Lucknow, Patna, Nagpur, Indore, Bangaluru, Kolkata, Ahmedabad. The air ticket for Prayagraj from Mumbai has been priced at minimum ₹4,299 and ₹3,748 from Prayagraj to Mumbai. The flight services will be available for the public for seven days a week.

Airport Authority of India Director, Sunil Yadav said that IndiGo will initiate air services from Bamrauli Airport to eight cities including Mumbai.
