Western Railway (WR) has announced the cancellation of over 2500 train services across Mumbai between October 27 to November 5 as part of its efforts to commission the sixth line between Bandra and Goregaon stations. These include both local and long distance trains.
However, bringing a slight relief, the number of train services to be cancelled has come down from 2700 to 2,525.
In its official statement, the WR issued a list of trains that will be cancelled for 3 days, that is from today, October 26 till October 28.

Meanwhile, it also released date-wise total number of trains that will remain cancelled both towards Virar and Churchgate.

Towards Virar
27-28 October: 128 trains cancelled.
29 October: 116 trains cancelled.
30 October-3 November: 158 trains cancelled.
November 4: 46 trains canceled
November 5: 54 trains canceled
Towards Churchgate
27-28 October: 127 trains cancelled.
29 October: 114 trains cancelled.
30 October-3 November: 158 trains cancelled.
November 4: 47 trains canceled
5 November: 56 trains cancelled.
Meanwhile, WR will cancel 43 long-distance trains and short-terminate 188 train.
