Health centre at Wadala railway station takes ill
SHARES

The health centre at Wadala railway station has discontinued its services within eight months of being launched.

The reason - hardly any footfalls, due to which workers could not be paid their salaries on time.

The centre was inaugurated on 7 August 2016 on Platform number 1 at Wadala. The Sanjeevani Medical Centre and Nursing Home were given charge of supervising the centre. The centre, that downed shutters two months ago, will be handed over to another institution on an immediate basis, says V. John, Deputy Manager, Wadala Railway station.

Will that solve the centre' woes, we wonder.
