Mumbai: BJP to arrange six trains and 250 buses for Ganesh festival

This Ganesh festival BJP has decided to arranged six trains and 250 buses from Mumbai for people to travel to konkan. The trains and buses will be arranged from Mumbai on three days namely Friday, Saturday and Sunday.


Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will flag off the train on Friday. Therefore, the bappa devotees going to Konkan are likely to get a big relief. Passengers will now be able to travel for free.

Along with this, a special train called Modi Express will also be launched on behalf of Mumbai BJP. Dadar Sawantwadi Express will depart on September 17 at 08:00 am. This train will halt at Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali and Sawantwadi stations. The cost of Modi Express will be borne by BJP Mumbai.


Meanwhile, this year Central Railway has planned 226 rounds of Ganapati special trains. Out of them only 2 trains have 3rd class air-conditioned and 2nd class air-conditioned coaches. So, some trains are unreserved and some are non-air-conditioned coaches.
