The Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) has honoured 10 metro stations on the Dahisar-Andheri East Metro 7 route of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) as eco-friendly and passenger-friendly metro stations. 'IGBC' has given platinum rating to these 10 stations honouring MMRDA.

The first phase of 'Dahisar - Andheri East Metro 7' was commissioned in April 2022. The work of the second phase has been completed and soon this phase will be made available for the public. This project, which is a perfect solution for clearing traffic congestion on the Western Expressway and making the Dahisar-Andheri journey super fast and easy, is considered very important for Mumbaikars. 10 metro stations on this route have been hailed as beautiful, eco-friendly and passenger-friendly stations.

It includes 10 stations namely Jogeshwari East, Aarey, Dindoshi, Kurar, Akurli, Poisar, Magathane, Devipada, National Park and Ovaripada.

These stations have been constructed keeping in mind the environmental norms. The design of the stations is also environmentally friendly. Also, special attention has been paid to the facilities of passengers and disabled persons. All necessary measures have been taken for the safety of passengers. Considering all these factors, IGBC has honoured these 10 metro stations with platinum rating.
