The commuters who travel in the general category of express trains can book their tickets, book tickets against cancellation and check the train status and timings through Railways UTS mobile app.
Talking about the same, a senior railway official said that they have been trying to encourage users to use the UTS mobile application. He added that certain zones from the country were not a part of the app and so a lot of passengers were unable to use it. However, from November 1, bookings to and from these zones will be available across India.
