Mumbai: Lalbaug flyover to remain shut for 3 months

This development comes as the civic body will be carrying out repair and bearing work on the Lalbaug flyover. Hence, the vehicular movement on the flyover will be affected during this period.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) declared that the Lalbaug flyover will be closed for vehicular movement between 11 pm to 6 am for the next three months from March 24.

This development comes as the civic body will be carrying out repair and bearing work on the Lalbaug flyover. Hence, the vehicular movement on the flyover will be affected during this period.

Meanwhile, the vehicles heading to or coming from South Mumbai via Parel bridge or Parel TT Junction can drive from below the bridge till June 15. Besides, those heading towards the north direction can drive from below the bridge on DR BA Road towards Parel.

According to officials, the traffic movement on the stretch from Byculla market near Rani Baug towards north direction will be closed for the next three months. Moreover, the traffic police will be deployed to guide for smooth vehicular movement during this period.
