Now the luxury cruise service will be available to the tourists in the country itself. Until now, only small cruises operated in the country, but from November this year, a 14-storey five-star luxury cruise will take tourists to sea.
This service will be available on Mumbai, Goa, Kochi, Lakshadweep routes from November 4. The announcement was made in Mumbai on Monday in the presence of Union Shipping and Waterways Minister Sarbanand Sonowal.
According to Mumbai Port Trust (BPT) Chairman Rajeev Jalota, Costa Cruises has decided to operate luxury cruises for the first time in the country. Many more companies have shown interest in operating cruise services in the country. Running a luxury cruise on domestic waterways will be economically viable.
