It has been a month since the E-Shivneri bus entered the fleet of the State Transport Corporation (ST) and currently 26 E-Shivneri buses are running on Mumbai-Pune and Thane-Pune routes. 50 thousand passengers have travelled by this bus in a month and due to E-Shivneri, a revenue of INR 2 crore has been collected in the coffers of ST in a month. The e-Shivneri has become known as an eco-friendly, modern, air-conditioned bus that runs in the ghats.
The E-Shivneri Bus was inaugurated by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on May 1, 2023. Initially, the E-Shivneri bus was started between Thane- Pune. After that, Dadar- Pune E-Shivneri service was started from May 19.

The E-Shivneri is getting good response from the passengers from the first day. Soon, 100 E-Shivneri buses will enter the fleet of ST and ST intends to provide safe, pollution-free and comfortable passenger services to thousands of passengers through this bus.
