Mega Block on CR and WR on 28th and 29th Dec

This weekend the Mega Block will not just be on Sunday but actually start from Saturday for both Central and Western Line. 

On 28th December, the mega block will be operational on its mainline for both up and down fast lines between Vidyavihar and Mulund stations. The Mega Block will be operational from 11:00 PM and go on till 5:00 AM on 29th Dec.

On Western Railways, the Mega Block will be on both up and Down Slow Line between Vasai Road and Virar from 12;30 AM to 4:30 AM. During this time down slow trains will run on Down fast line. 

Western Railways will be carrying out maintenance work of tracks, signalling and overhead equipment, a block of four hours will be undertaken o­n Up and Down slow lines from 00.30 hrs to 04.30 hrs during an intermittent night of Saturday, 28th and Sunday, 29th December, 2019

Western Railway announced another Major block on Saturday/Sunday. The block will be for the launching of plate girders on Andheri ( South ) PF No. 9 as on 28 the and 29th Dec from 21.00hrs on 28th Dec to 07.30hrs on 29th Dec. 

There is another block on the Central Line from MATUNGA to MULUND DOWN SLOW LINE  between 11.20 AM to 03.50 PM.

During this time, Down Slow line services leaving Matunga from 10.59 am to 03.45 pm will be diverted on Dn fast line between Matunga and Mulund stations halting at Sion, Kurla, Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations and further re-diverted to Down Slow line proper at Mulund Stations.

Down slow line services will not be available at Vidyavihar, Kanjur Marg and Nahur stations but the passengers of these stations can travel via Ghatkopar, Bhandup and Mulund stations.

Up fast services leaving Thane from 11.24 am to 03.26 pm will halt at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations as well along with their respective scheduled halts. In addition, the trains will be arriving at their destination 15 minutes behind schedule.

Down fast/semi fast services leaving CSMT Mumbai from 10.49 am to 03.21 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup, Mulund and Diva stations in addition to their respective scheduled halt and arrive destination 20 minutes behind schedule.

All Down and Up slow services leaving/arriving CSMT Mumbai between 11.00 am and 05.00 pm will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.

Coming over to Harbour Line, the block will be operational between CSMT MUMBAI – CHUNABHATTI/BANDRA DOWN HARBOUR LINE between 11.40 AM to 04.10 PM and CHUNABHATTI/BANDRA – CSMT MUMBAI UP HARBOUR LINE from 11.10 AM to 03.40 PM. 

Down Harbour line services to Vashi/Belapur/Panvel leaving CSMT Mumbai/Vadala Road from 11.34 am to 04.23 pm and Down Harbour line services to Bandra/Goregaon leaving CSMT Mumbai from 09.56 am to 04.16 pm will remain suspended.

Up Harbour Line services for CSMT Mumbai leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 09.53 am to 02.44 pm and Up Harbour line services for CSMT Mumbai leaving Goregaon/Bandra from 10.45 am to 04.58 pm will remain suspended.

There will be special trains running Panvel and Kurla.  Passengers during the block time can travel via Main Line and Western Railway from 10.00 am to 06.00 pm.
