The Mount Mary fair in Bandra (W) is starting from the second week of September and extra buses will be run till September 15. The BEST will run 121 additional buses between Bandra Railway Station (W) and Hill Road Udyan throughout the week. Also, additional buses will be run on BEST bus route numbers C-71, A-202, 321, A-375, 422, 473 and C-505.
To visit Mount Mary fair, devotees mostly arrive at Bandra Station (W) by local train and then travel by BEST buses. But it is not possible to run the bus to Mount Mary Church. Therefore, extra buses will run between Bandra Railway Station (W) and Hill Road Park.
Apart from this, additional buses will also be run on the regular bus routes from Bandra. Considering the rush of passengers in Bandra Station (W) and Mount Mary Church area on the occasion of the fair, bus inspectors and traffic officers have been appointed for the entire period to provide proper guidance and support to the passengers. The administration of BEST has appealed that the passengers should take advantage of this bus service.
