While, the much-awaited Mumbai-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express is ready to embark on its journey after a delay caused by the Balasore incident, it has come to light that the prices are expected to be equivalent to flight rates. However, the exact ticket prices for the Mumbai-Goa route have not been finalised.

The Executive Chair (EC) vehicle is expected to cost similar to the expense of flying from Mumbai to Goa. The estimated ticket prices for EC vehicles are around INR 2,915. On the other hand, the Chair Car (CC) vehicle is expected to have a higher price tag than the fares of Shatabdi trains. A CC vehicle is projected to cost approximately INR 1,435.

In comparison, flight tickets from Mumbai to Goa range from INR 1,500 to INR 2,100, depending on the airline and time of travel. Compared to the Tejas Express, the CSMT-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express offers a slightly cheaper option. For Tejas Express, the EC costs approximately INR 2,980, and the CC costs around INR 1,525.

The train is scheduled to be flagged off on June 27.

The Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat Express aims to provide passengers with a luxurious and contemporary travel experience. With amenities such as Wi-Fi connectivity, comfortable reclining seats, and a dedicated dining car, passengers can enjoy a journey that combines comfort and convenience.

Furthermore, the Vande Bharat Express is designed to consume less fuel than traditional trains. Operating six days a week, excluding Fridays, the Mumbai-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express offers flexibility for travellers, reduced travel time, and many more amenities.

Additionally, on June 27, four more Vande Bharat trains will be launched on different routes. These include the Patna-Ranchi, Bhopal-Indore, Bhopal-Jabalpur, and Bengaluru-Hubballi routes.
