Mumbai Maha Metro has decided to increase the number of metro trips. Eight more metro trips will be made available for Mumbaikars from Monday. Eight more rounds will be extended on Metro 7 and 2A (Gundavali-Dahisar-Andheri West) route.
Mumbaikars will be able to avail this service from Monday. By increasing these eight trips, there will now be a total of 253 trips on Metro 7 and 2A routes. Earlier there were 245 trips running on this route. The number of passengers on Metro 7 and 2A (Gundavali-Dahisar-Andheri West) have increased.
We have taken this decision keeping in mind the increasing load of passengers. In other words, the metro will run every 7.29 minutes, MMOCL President Srinivas said.
Metro 7 route is from Andheri to Dahisar, while Metro 2A is from Dahisar West to DN Nagar.
