The work on the 'Colaba - Bandra - Seepz Metro 3' route has picked up speed and so far 79% of the 33.5 km long route has been completed. At the same time, 84% of the first phase of Aarey-BKC and 75.6% of the second phase of BKC-Cuffe Parade have been completed.
The Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC) has taken up the work of 'Metro 3' on a war footing, and it is trying to put this metro into service as soon as possible. As per the work review report of 'Metro 3' till 31 January 2023, 79% of the total project has been completed. The work of this route is going on in two phases. MMRC intends to start the first phase of Aarey-BKC in December 2023. Therefore, the work of this phase is going on at a fast pace and so far 84% of the work of this phase has been completed.

According to the work review report, 90.6% construction of the total project has been completed. 46.1% of the system, 53.8% of the track, 88.3% of the stations have been completed. Already 100% land reclamation work has been completed. Aarey – BKC 1st phase total 84% work has been completed. While 97.1% of the station and tunnel, 59.1% of the system, and 70.6 %of the track have been completed. Meanwhile, 75.6% of the second phase of BKC – Cough Parade has been completed.

Of this, 94.5% of the metro station and tunnel, 44.2% of the track and 39.6% of the system have been completed. Overall, the construction of the 'Metro 3' route is going on at a fast pace. But there is no mention in the MMRC report about the work of the car shed.
