The Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST)'s premium bus service will be commencing on a new route between Mumbai and Thane. The BEST officials informed that this service has been made available for the commuters from March 1.
The BEST bus service will be from the Mumbai airport in Andheri (West) to the Cadbury Junction in Thane. At present, a total of 26 premium buses are being operated. The number of premium buses will be further increased.
With this, the commute will get significantly easier and more comfortable. This premium bus facility will help people travelling anywhere between these two points.
Features:
This premium bus service is different from the other bus services in Mumbai because, unlike the regular BEST buses, this one does not have designated stops. This means that unless a passenger marks their pickup and drop-off spot, the bus will not stop.
These buses allow for faster, more efficient travel and it also saves time. Furthermore, the passenger can book their ticket in advance from the ‘Chalo App’.
Moreover, to ensure that these premium buses aren’t also overcrowded, travelling while standing is not allowed.
