Mumbai to Goa Tejas Express to resume operations from July 10

As per the Central Railways, only passengers with confirmed tickets will be permitted on board the train, adhering to all norms and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to COVID-19.

Konkan Railway is set to resume its operations of Mumbai-Karmali (Goa) Tejas Express from July 10, an official reported.

An official said that train no 02119 Mumbai CSMT-Karmali will leave from CSMT at 5.50 am every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from July 10 and reach Karmali at 4 pm.

In its return journey the train 02120 will leave from Karmali around noon on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and reach Mumbai at 11.15 pm. Konkan Railway will also restart trains 01223/01224 LTT- Ernakulam Jn Duronto Superfast Special (fully reserved) from July 10.

Besides, on June 26, the Central Railways started the services of Deccan Queen and Deccan Express trains, connecting two important cities Pune and Mumbai, almost after a month of shut down because of restrictions-induced due to coronavirus.

Passengers on the rail route between Pune and Mumbai can now avail of seats in a special “Vistadome” coach, on the Deccan Express Special.

This is the first time a Vistadome coach will be deployed on the Mumbai-Pune route. In addition, Madgaon Jan Shatabdi Special train also has this coach.
