Attention! "These" Traffic regulations announced for Ganesh Festival

To avoid traffic congestion during Ganeshotsav celebrations during September 19 to September 29, following traffic arrangements have been made in Mumbai City. Citizens are requested to follow the revised traffic arrangements.

For south Mumbai, there shall be complete restriction on all heavy vehicles and private buses to enter and ply on roads in south Mumbai on September 21, 24, 26 and 29. On other days for the period between September 19 to 29, 2023, all heavy vehicles are allowed to ply on roads in south Mumbai between 00:00 hrs to 07:00 hrs.

To avoid traffic congestion during Ganeshotsav celebrations during September 19th to 29th, following traffic arrangements have been done in Mumbai City.

For the jurisdiction of Greater Mumbai (except for areas under the jurisdiction of South Mumbai), there shall be complete restriction for all types of heavy vehicles and private buses to enter and ply on roads from 11:00 hrs to 01:00 hrs of the next day on September 20, 23 and 25. Further, there will also be restrictions on these vehicles to enter and ply on roads on September 28, 2023 from 10:00 hrs to 6:00 hrs of the next day.

On other days, for the period between September 19 to September 29, all heavy vehicles and private buses entering and leaving Mumbai are restricted to enter and ply on roads from 08:00 hrs to 11:00 hrs and 17:00 hrs to 21:00 hrs.
