Mumbai - Jet Airways Goa-Mumbai flight 9W 2374 skidded off the runway at Dabolim airport (Goa). However all the passengers and crew members are reported to be safe. This incident took place in the wee hours on Tuesday, 27th December. After this mishap, Dabolim airport was closed till 12.30 PM.
154 passengers and 7 crew members veered off the runway while aligning for take off. All of them have been safely evacuated. Few passengers have sustained injuries during the evacuation process. Medical assistance is being coordinated to those injured by the Jet Airways team and the airport authorities.
