A year ago, the Western Railway had launched ‘Disha’ app which helped commuters in locating WiFi service, emergency medical room, station manager's office, railway police and railway security force. Now, the WR has upgraded the app and has introduced new features.
According to the upgraded version, the user will get to see the updates of local trains arriving on the platform as the WR connected app with TMS (Train Management System) — provides the real-time movement of trains on the western line between Churchgate and Virar sections.

This will help the user to see the live updates of local trains arriving on the platform which will be delivered in the span of 30 minutes, 45 minutes and one hour.
Along with this, the user will also get to see the prices of food items available at railway stalls and will get to file a complaint in case of increased prices of food items.
