Mumbai - People came on the track protesting against delayed service of the local train running from Titwala to Mumbai. People were on the platform at 5 am waiting for the local but because of some technical fault in Asangaon, service got delayed. Passengers asked station staff to halt a mail express so that students and office goers can reach the place on time. A representative of K3 Rail passengers association, Vivekanand Kanitkar and Treasurer Ketan Kanhere after hearing the hullabaloo took the matter in their hands and offered help on an immediate basis with coordination with the Railway authority. From next time, if such problem arises mail trains will be halted, assured the authorities in writing and that helped to calm down the protest.
