Central Railway (CR) has planned to construct 4 new EMU sidings at Juinagar station for daily stabling of EMU suburban local trains. Construction of these 4 new EMU suburban sidings will help to decongest daily stabling of EMU rakes at Panvel and Vashi platforms. It will also decongest Sanpada car shed stabling lines.
Stabling of EMU rakes on these new stabling lines at Juinagar will also facilitate examination of EMU rakes.
Details of block to be undertaken for construction of these stabling lines is as below:
Block Details:
·Special traffic block for commissioning of stabling sidings with provision of Electronic Interlocking at Juinagar station
Section of Block:
·Down and Up Harbour & Trans-harbour lines at Juinagar end of Sanpada car shed (Bay line 1 & 2)
Date, Time & Duration of Block:
·From 25.8.2023 ( Friday) 08.00 hrs to 27.8.2023 (Sunday) 15.30 hrs
( Block during day hours only)
Short Termination / Origination of suburban trains due to the block :
Following suburban trains will be terminated at Vashi on 25/26.8.2023 (Friday-Saturday night time) and on 26/27.8.2023 (Saturday-Sunday night time)
Panvel local P-175 and P-199 leaving CSMT at 20.00 hrs and 22.50 hrs respectively.
Belapur local BR-57 & BR-59 leaving CSMT at 21.38 hrs and 21.58 hrs respectively.
Following suburban trains will originate from Vashi on 25/26.8.2023 (Friday-Saturday night time)
Belapur- Vadala Road local BRVD-2 leaving Belapur CBD at 05.50 hrs and
Belapur-CSMT local BR-16 leaving Belapur at 07.04 hrs.
Repercussions due to the block:
Entry and Exit from /to Juinagar end of Sanpada carshed will not be available. Harbour and Trans-harbour services will also not ne available during Sunday block.
Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused due to this infrastructure block.
