SpiceJet Announces New Mumbai-Ajmer Flights Along With More Than 20 Domestic Flight Routes

Indian airline operator, SpiceJet announced the launch of 24 new domestic flight routes in a bid to improve connectivity across key destinations in the country. Prominent among the new routes is Mumbai to Ajmer. 

The airline said that it is bringing four new seasonal flights that connect Jaisalmer with Delhi and Ahmedabad. SpiceJet is also launching flights on routes like Ahmedabad - Bengaluru, Kolkata - Guwahati, and Guwahati - Delhi.

Chief Commercial Officer at SpiceJet, Shilpa Bhatia while talking to a press agency said -“We are pleased to announce the launch of 24 new flights on our domestic network. After successfully connecting Ajmer with Delhi, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad we will be launching daily flights connecting Mumbai with Ajmer. SpiceJet will also connect Ahmedabad with Amritsar and we expect a lot of pilgrim and tourist traffic on this route.”

Meanwhile, the airline announced that return flights between Ahmedabad-Bagdogra and Chennai-Kolkata will run three days a week whereas flights between Patna - Bangalore will run five times a week, and Patna-Surat flights will take off twice per week. Meanwhile, Surat to Chennai flights are scheduled to run for four days in a week.

SpiceJet clarified that some seasonal flights will start between Feb 12 and March 13, while the rest of the flights will start operating from Feb 19 and 20. The airline carrier will utilize its Boeing 737 and Bombardier Q400 aircraft for the aforementioned routes.

SpiceJet announced that it will launch the Mumbai-Ajmer and Ajmer-Mumbai flights at an introductory promotion price of ₹4,143 and ₹4,035 respectively.
