Mumbai- The Central government has issued an order stating that blind people can now travel free of cost in the BEST buses. For this project, BMC will give Rs. 1 crore to the BEST. However, blind people have dismissed this idea. They have conveyed that they don't need such support & they can manage by themselves. Residents Niket Mhatre & Tushar Kamble have alleged that when they tried to travel free of cost they were asked for money.
