Due to heavy rains, a water logging incident was reported at Nallasopara station which continued for two days and all local trains on this line were suspended. However, on Wednesday, Western Railway resumed few Churchgate-bound local trains starting from Virar but at a restricted speed of 10kmph.

Along with this, WR has also resumed few Churchgate-bound local trains starting from Bhayander on both Up and Down lines. The Indian Railways are trying their best to restore local train services between Virar and Bhayander.

So far, five local trains have left for Churchgate from Virar but are running at the speed of 10kmph because water has still not subsided at Nallasopara station. Meanwhile, local trains are running normally between Virar and Dahanu.
