A woman passenger of Air India flying from Newark to Mumbai tweeted a disturbing photo of her arm covered with bed bug bites from the flight last week.
Saumya Shetty, who was travelling with three children of her children, including an infant, in the business class of a Newark-Mumbai Air India flight last Wednesday, said that she developed body rashes on the flight. She complained about bed bugs to the flight staff but was forced to sleep in the same seat and only got a change of seat just before landing in Mumbai.

Saumya is the second passenger in the week to have complained about bed bugs on the same flight. Another passenger, Pravin Tonsekar also travelling business class, tweeted that his seat was infested with bugs. He said that his wife and daughter had to suffer half of the journey sitting in economy seats with broken tables and inoperative screens.
