To carry out maintenance work of tracks, overhead and signalling equipment, a major block of four hours will be taken on UP and DOWN Fast lines between Mumbai Central and Mahim station from 00.00 hrs to 04.00 hrs during the intervening night of December 24-25, 2022.
According to a press release issued by Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railways (WR), during the block period, all UP and DOWN Fast line trains will be operated on Slow lines between Mumbai Central and Andheri/Santacruz stations.
A jumbo block of 4 hrs will be taken on date 24/25.12.22 (Saturday/Sunday) on UP Fast line & DOWN Fast lines from 00.00 hrs. to 04.00 hrs between MUMBAI CENTRAL AND MAHIM. The inconvenience caused to passengers is deeply regretted.

Therefore, there will be NO BLOCK in DAY TIME over Western Railway Suburban section on Sunday, December 25, 2022.
