WR will run 2 special train between Mumbai and Chhapra, via Vasai Road

The Western railways (WR) has decided to run two additional special trains between Mumbai and Chhapra in Bihar via Vasai Road-Surat-Vadodara-Ratlam for the convenience of passengers and with a view to meet the travel demand.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the details of this special train is as under:

Train No. 01213/14 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Chhapra Special

Train No. 01213 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Chhapra Special will depart from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 14.30 hours on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, and will reach Chhapra at 10.50 hours on Thursday, April 22, 2021. Similarly, Train No. 01214 Chhapra – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Special will depart from Chhapra on Friday, April 23, 2021, at 05.40 hours and will reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 00.40 hours on Sunday. En route, this train will halt at Thane, Bhivandi Road, Vasai Road, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Bayana Jn, Agra Fort, Tundla Jn, Kanpur Central, Aishbagh, Gonda Jn, Basti, Gorakhpur, Bhatni Jn and Siwan Jn stations. This train comprises AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and Second Class Seating coaches.

Train no 01197/98 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus - Chhapra Special

Train no 01197 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Chhapra Special will depart from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 14.30 hours on Friday, April 16, 2021, and Wednesday, April 21, 2021, and will reach Chhapra at 10.50 hours on Sunday, April 18, 2021, and Friday, April 23, 2021, respectively. Similarly, train no 01198 Chhapra - Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Special will depart from Chhapra on Monday, April 19, 2021, at 05.40 hrs and will reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 00.40 hours third day. This train will halt at Vasai Road, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, and Nagda stations over WR. This train comprises AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class, and Second Class Seating coaches.

It is worth mentioning that only passengers having confirmed tickets will be permitted to board these special trains. Passengers are requested by Western Railway, to adhere to all norms, SOPs related to COVID-19 during the boarding, travel and destination.
