Girgaum - Girgaum Ganpati Pandal believes in old school manner of celebrating Ganesha Festival. The mandal celebrates Ganesha Chaturthi in solemn manner, working on the principles of Tilak. The mandal is 89 years old. PM Narendra Modi also acknowledged this mandal, while talking about environment through 'Man Ki Baat'. The idol is made up of clay likewise every year. BJP chief Amit Shah, State Education Minister Vinod Tawde , Party President Mumbai Unit Ashish Shelar were present in order to seek blessings from Girgaumcha Raja. Cooking competition held for women devotees.
