West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee arrived in Mumbai for a meeting of the INDIA Alliance. She tied a rakhi to actor Amitabh Bachchan. As soon as she arrived in Mumbai, she visited Amitabh Bachchan's residence.
Actor Amitabh Bachchan attended the opening ceremony of last year's Kolkata International Film Festival, where Mamata Banerjee demanded the Bharat Ratna for his contribution to the film. Meanwhile, Mamata Banerjee has invited actor Amitabh Bachchan to Kolkata after meeting his family.

"Amitabh Bachchan is our Bharat Ratna. His family has also contributed a lot in the film industry and today I tied a rakhi to Amitabh, so today is a big day", said Mamata Banerjee.
