Shelly Chopra Dhar's directorial 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga' has been making the right noise ever since the film was announced and recently team launched a new trailer with a very unique concept by standing in a glass box.
Owing to the tremendous buzz the first trailer had created the makers of the film have now unveiled another sneak-peak of the film. Present at the launch event were the lead actors Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Juhi Chawla along with the director Shelly Chopra Dhar and producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
The new trailer showcases Sonam Kapoor's struggle and fights against her family for her love. The film also brings the father-daughter duo Anil Kapoor-Sonam Kapoor together on screen for the first time. It is being said that the unusual and unique script of the film played the big role to bring this duo together.
The story of this unconventional love story will be instrumental in pushing the queer conversation forward in India. Representation of the LGBTQ community on celluloid has been a tedious one and with Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga it will be a great concept and lesson to be shared with all the parents out there.
Presented by Fox Star Studio, produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga' is slated to release on February 1, 2019.
