International icon Priyanka Chopra married and popular American singer Nick Jonas tied the knot in a traditional Hindu ceremony on Sunday. The wedding ceremony was three-day affair a colorful Mehendi ceremony, a friendly cricket match and ‘Desi' themed sangeet.
As per reports in media, Priyanka donned a red traditional ethnic bridal outfit while Nick had worn Indian attire. He wholeheartedly followed all the Hindu rituals which were carried out during the different wedding ceremonies. Priyanka too was seen honoring his customs and traditions.
Their wedding celebrations took place at the royal Umaid Bhawan Palace, situated atop a hill in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
The couple first exchanged vows in a Christian ceremony officiated by the groom's father here on December 1. The sky was lit up with firecrackers on Saturday after Christian wedding.
Priyanka was seen in a breath-taking multi-hued traditional Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehenga, while Nick sported an aqua kurta at the Mehndi ceremony. They had incorporated a friendly cricket match, competing as "team bride vs team groom". Baaratis rocked the dance floor on the desi themed sangeet night.
