Popular B-town producer Boney Kapoor recently announced that he will make a feature film or a documentary on his late wife Sridevi. As per reports, he has already registered few titles for the same. There are 20 odd titles registered by him, and he is certain with three titles called 'Sri', 'Sridevi' and 'Sri Ma’am'.
Conversing with Mid-Day the producer said, “There are plans to make a film, but I can’t tell you whether it will be a biopic or documentary. I don’t see the need to rush into anything.”
The legendary actress died under mysterious circumstances on the night of February 24, 2018, in a Dubai hotel. She was in Dubai to attend her nephew- Mohit Marwah’s wedding. After the wedding, rest of the family returned to India while Sridevi stayed back to shop for her family. That night Sridevi and Boney Kapoor were supposed to go out for dinner, however, it turned a dreadful night as conditions turned terribly wrong, the actress reportedly drowned in her bathtub and died. Her last rituals were performed in Mumbai on February 28.
Currently, her daughter Janhvi Kapoor is all set for her Bollywood debut opposite Ishan Khatter in Karan Johar’s ‘Dhadak’. Directed by Shashank Khaitan ‘Dhadak’ is a Hindi remake of superhit Marathi movie ‘Sairat’.
