Co-op bank employees to stage stir
Nariman Point - The employees of co-operative banks are in the process to launch an agitation against the Central government and the Reserve Bank of India for stopping the co-operative banks from accepting the old notes of demonetised high value currencies. Co-operative Bank Union Employees’ Association’s executive president Sunil Salvi, while addressing a press conference at Mumbai Marathi Patrakar Sangh, said that the RBI has been behaving partially by not allowing the co-operative banks to accept the demonetised old notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000.
